The Elegant Elder is an inter-generational lecture series on the Natural Woman's Path of Personal Power. These programs are intended for a woman-only audience. Each lecture happens as an online masterclass (90+ minutes) including time for interactive Q & A. The lecture is recorded and registrants will receive a downloadable audio file replay (MP4 recording).  Please be aware that Yeye Luisah Teish is not available and WILL NOT BE ATTENDING these guest lecture events. 

You may register for one or more lectures of your choice.  You are encouraged to complete your registration at least two days before any lecture to ensure that you have sufficient time to receive the "secret access link" to attend the LIVE wisdom teaching experience. When you register for any lecture, you will receive audio file replay 7 to 10 days following the program.

Iya Oya Dei Masterclass
Wisdom Teaching on African American Ancestor Reference 
Iya Oya Dei a/k/a Wanda Ravernell wears many hats in a life that weaves the secular and sacred and where one set of skills or knowledge informs the other. She is executive director and visionary of Omnira Institute, a nonprofit formed in 2011 whose mission is to recover and preserve the roots of African American culture by reintroducing and reaffirming the historic and psychic links to West African cultural and spiritual tradition.  The institute does this through its performing arm, Awon Ohun Omnira, (Voices of Freedom) and serves as the narrator for its performances. ​The choir, Awon Ohun Omnira (Voices of Freedom)  is led by her husband, Tobaji Stewart, a renowned master of the Bata drums, sung liturgy for the ancestors (Oro Egun) and the forces of nature known as Orisha (Aranla). He also has intructed the choir in doing the ‘Ring Shout,’ the vestige of African spirituality still practiced in the United States by their mentors, the McIntosh County Shouters.

Iya J. Oyinyele
Wisdom Teaching on The Congo Tradition
Iya J. Oyinleye, a High Priestess, Medium, and Mystic was born in the Gullah Geechee community of Savannah, GA. Throughout her beautiful journey of spiritual development, Iya J. has been blessed and marked by highly reputable elders of both Cuban and traditional African practicing lineages as Iyanifa, Iyalorisa, Olosun (priestess of Oshun), and Yaya Nganga. As the "Problem Solver" bringing a background of over 20 years in Software Engineering/Computer Science, she is the creator and owner of the "Hoodoo Spirit" app, first of it's kind designed to provide a brief glimpse of the spirits and energy surrounding a person. As the "Lover" and active practitioner of occult sciences, metaphysic studies, and esoteric arts, Iya J's mission is to bring global awareness of traditional Kongolese Spirituality as it is the core foundation of all her works. Iya J. redefines the notion of Conjure Woman and along with others of her kind, shifts the new era wave of spirituality to a sincere Queendom and Power.

Queen Mother Imakhu Masterclass
Wisdom Teaching on The Kemetic Tradition
Queen Mother Imakhu, a.k.a. Pastor Elaine Lloyd Nazario, is an ankh carrying Elder High Priestess, teacher, and scholar in the Kemetic tradition. Her personal practice, Shenu-Khametic, is a branch of Kemetic religion. Queen Mother is known for her cultural reclamation research, including her groundbreaking correlative findings on Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and European Elder Futhark runes. Her additional self-created oracle systems include the Shenu Circle of Fate, and COWRIE CARDS. Her newest book, "Khesu Dwau Meni: Daily Prayer Rituals of Shenu-Khametic Temple," is a faith practitioner's guide to understanding Khametic spirituality. Queen Mother's Shenu-Khametic Yoga program is considered to be the most comprehensive approach to the Nile Valley yoga origins. She proudly carries the Uas staff directly passed on to her in ceremony by her late Atef NTR (spiritual godfather) and mentor, GrandMaster Kham of the Shrine of Khpra. As an ordained Interfaith minister, Queen Mother Imakhu serves on various Interfaith advisory council.  Imakhu means Reverend, or one who is in humble service.

Max Dashu Masterclass
Wisdom Teaching on Ancient Treasures of African American Women
Max Dashu is a land-walker and history sibyl who teaches women’s global history and heritages through images. She founded the Suppressed Histories Archives to research and document global women's history, the full spectrum of the world's peoples across time. Her legendary slideshows bring to light women of power who have been hidden from view, from ancient icons to female leaders, culture-makers, rebels, and medicine women. Max is the author of Witches and Pagans: Women in European Folk Religion, the first volume to be published from her sourcebook Secret History of the Witches.
 
In 1970 Dashu founded the Suppressed Histories Archives to research women in the global cultural record – not only individual women, but female spheres of power, egalitarian cultures, patriarchy, slavery and other patterns of domination. (The Archives marks its 50th anniversary this winter.) From her collection of some 40,000 images, Dashu has created and presented hundreds of slideshows at universities, women’s centers, bookstores, conferences, festivals, libraries, prisons, museums, and schools. She has presented at international conferences in Italy, Switzerland, Britain, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Mexico, Bulgaria, Guatemala, and the US. She also teaches via webcasts, online courses, audio podcasts, her blog Veleda, and her daily Suppressed Histories posts on Facebook.
